The Port of Milford Haven is once again urging members of the public to stay away from Ward’s Yard in Milford Haven and Criterion Quay (also known as the offshore jetty) in Pembroke Dock, due to ongoing safety concerns.
Despite robust security measures, individuals continue to access both locations without permission, often disregarding and in some cases damaging safety signage and perimeter fencing.
Both Ward’s Yard and Criterion Quay are privately owned by the Port of Milford Haven. Anyone entering these areas without authorisation is trespassing, and incidents of criminal damage may lead to prosecution.
Niall Yeomans, Head of HSSEQ at the Port of Milford Haven, said:“Safety remains our top priority. Unfortunately, people continue to put themselves, and our teams, at risk by entering these restricted areas.
“These sites are not safe for public access. They are isolated, located alongside deep water, and present serious hazards including slips, trips and falls.”
The Port is asking anyone who witnesses suspicious activity at either location to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police by calling 101.
