Forget what's on the box this festive season - the best Christmas movie will be on show in Tenby on Monday, December 22.

Films4Tenby's pop-up cinema 'Rooms With a View' are hosting a special charity event of the perennial favourite 'Miracle on 34th Street'.

And for the first time, the group will have their very own cinema-style popcorn machine to make the event even more magical. All profits will be donated to PATCH (Pembrokeshire Action To Combat Hardship). The charity, based in Milford Haven, provides free food parcels, clothing and household items to those in a financial crisis throughout the county.

A newer, colourised version of the 1947 classic will be screened at 4 pm at St. John's Church Hall on Warren Street. The movie tells the story of a pensioner who claims to be Santa Claus and ends up being institutionalised as insane. A young lawyer comes to his rescue by arguing in court that he is the real thing.

St. John's Church is currently hosting a Christmas mas Tree Festival - take a peek inside to see what creative displays are on offer, before calling into the church hall to watch the movie. As well as delicious-smelling fresh popcorn, hot drinks, mince pies and a raffle all on offer.
