Sir,
Just to reinforce the letter printed in your August 21 edition, may I repeat to your readers the frequently reported mantra that 'if drivers park properly, with care and consideration to other road users, there would be no hold-ups in High Street or elsewhere in Narberth'.
Sadly, it is the lack of parking skill which causes the problems, exacerbated by the absence of traffic wardens to remind drivers how they should park.
So may I again request that drivers 'park with consideration' and ensure that their vehicles are not protruding into and blocking the highway for other road users, thus preventing the normal smooth traffic flow from taking place.
Gordon Barry,
Secretary to Narberth Chamber of Trade.
