Children from local communities in the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire border areas have become members of the Pony Club at Marros Riding Centre since the riding centre became a British Horse Society Pony Club approved centre recently. With a club membership totalling 35 children whose ages range from four to 17 years old, the owners and staff at Marros Riding Centre have been busy organising club days to entertain and educate the children, and in many cases the parents too! Enjoying four hours of instruction, including riding and stable management sessions, the new club is proving a great success amongst all involved. A waiting list for Pony Club wannabees is now in operation due to the huge demand in the area. The Pony Club is just one of many activities available at the riding centre and the New Year will see the introduction of a fitness and flexibility class designed specifically for riders as well as exciting expansions to riding facilities.
