Local Government Elections will be held in Wales on Thursday ,May 5, 2022. For the new ward of St. Florence & St. Mary Out Liberty, Rhys Jordan is standing - a local face, with local ideas, fighting for the local community and county. Here is what he says...

LOCAL ISSUES

IMPROVED SWIMMING POOL FOR TENBY

A new swimming pool that is safe and fit for purpose and accessible for all. Better leisure facitlies will encourage and improve mental and physical health. I will fight to ensure this project is finally delivered.

TAKE PRIDE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Ensure investment in our roads and pavements to minimise potholes and hazardous pedestrian areas. I will work with the community and others to tackle blights on our ward such as anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping, graffiti, and dog mess.

I WILL ‘SHOW UP’

I am here to serve our community and will always be on hand to argue for, and address the things that matter to you. I will be a true voice for St Florence & St Mary Out Liberty.

COUNTY ISSUES

MORE AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Fight for more affordable homes to be built in Pembrokeshire so local people can live in the county they have grown up in.

TAKE PRIDE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Support businesses and communities to make local areas attractive for investment, and create jobs for local people.

HEALTHIER & SAFER COMMUNITIES

Ensure closer working with social services and the NHS to protect the most vulnerable in society, giving them dignity and respect.

SECURE COMMUNITIES FOR THE NEXT GENERATION

Ensure that every young person should have the opportunity to reach their potential in schools which are fit for purpose in delivering the national curriculum.
