Police are urging people to be on their guard after a spate of scrap metal thefts. Thieves have been targeting isolated rural properties, such as farms and smallholdings across Pembrokeshire. It is believed they are posing as rabbit lampers or people looking to purchase scrap metal, but then return later and steal the items. Anyone who is approached by people looking to buy scrap metal or has an unfamiliar vehicle on their land is asked to take the registration number and report it to their local police.
