Police are warning businesses to be wary of people asking to exhange large amounts of cash into smaller denominations. A few incidents have occurred recently whereby people have wanted to change large numbers of £20 notes into £10 notes and then back again. This has resulted in the cashier becoming confused and the individuals not handing back the full amount of cash.
