Local police are investigating two 'walk-in' burglaries which occurred in Saundersfoot on Wednesday.
The first incident occurred at The Coppers in Milford Terrace sometime between 10 am and 12.30 pm when a quantity of jewellery and other items were taken.
The second was at Vine Farm, The Ridgeway, sometime between 12.15 and 12.45 pm, when a grey 18-inch by 18-inch safe, weight approximately 100 lbs, was removed.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious around the Saundersfoot Health Centre, Milford Terrace and Ridgeway areas on Wednesday.
Items of property from The Coppers break-in were later recovered on a grass verge approximately 100 yards from Kilgetty roundabout and the police would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed someone throwing these items from a passing vehicle.
They would also like to hear from people who may have had callers at their homes, or guest houses, over the last two weeks acting suspiciously, or who were found in parts of the building they should not have been.
The police also advise people to ensure that their premises are secure.
Anyone with information which could assist the police with their inquiries is asked to contact PC Steve Rogers, or Tenby CID at Tenby police station on (01834) 842303.
