An early hours of the morning robbery in the centre of Tenby is under investigation by Dyfed Powys Police. A 21-year-old local female was assaulted and had her handbag stolen during a violent struggle in the incident which occurred between 2 and 2.20 am, at South Parade, near to the archway entrance leading into The Arcade, Upper Frog Street. As a result, the victim sustained an injury to her arm and bruising. Property stolen included a black and silver coloured mobile 'phone, a black coloured ladies' purse which had a zip to the back with an integral card holder, various credit and debit cards and loose change. Police are anxious to trace any witnesses to this incident. They would like to trace customers emerging from a nearby licensed premises, namely The Prince of Wales, at around the time of the incident. In particular, officers want to speak to a group of six males with northern accents who had been present in this premises and present thereafter when the assault occurred.
