Police are appealing for information following a theft from a caravan at Rumbleway Caravan Site, New Hedges. Sometime between Sunday, June 19, and Friday, July 4, thieves entered the awning area and forced open the caravan and stole a 22-inch Tecnik HD TV/DVD and box, a gas bottle, propane bottle and alcohol. As a result of this crime, not only do the family have to replace all the items stolen, but it also spoilt their holiday in the area. Police are reminding all caravan owners, that if they are going to leave the caravan vacant, to please remove all items of value.
