Dyfed Powys Police are continuing to investigate the sudden death of an elderly lady in Saundersfoot. The woman was found at a property at Rushy Lake, on Monday afternoon. A post mortem has been carried out and close liaison is ongoing between the police, HM coroner and Home Office pathologist in relation to ongoing enquiries into the cause of death. "At this stage of the enquiry, there is no information to suggest any foul play, however, the circumstances will continue to be thoroughly investigated," said a police spokeswoman. An elderly carer who was also discovered at the address was taken to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest. She has since been transferred to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where her condition is described as 'critical'.
