Police in Narberth are anxious to trace the driver of a car which was broken into at Canaston Bridge on Monday.
Two chain saws were taken from the vehicle, but the owner did not report the matter to the police.
However, the break-in was brought to officers' attention when they attended the scene after a second vehicle was entered.
Police have recovered the chain saws and are now trying to trace the owner.
They are also appealing for any witnesses to contact them and are warning motorists not to leave valuable items on show.
