Pembroke Dock Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the Pembroke River Rally at The Mill Pond in Pembroke on Saturday, July 4, to provide the children with various activities such as road safety quizzes, police wordsearches and internet safety games.

The children were also shown around the police van and they were delighted to have a go at operating the blue lights and sirens.

There were various different stalls and activities at the River Rally. The PCSOs took an active part in these activities along with the local children. This enabled them to reinforce community ties, allowing them to get to know the children in an enjoyable and relaxed environment.

The team also provided some community reassurance with regards to bogus callers after the spate of burglaries in the local area and provided various advice on car crime, Bobby Van information and how to avoid scams etc.
