A honeymoon touring California followed the wedding at St. Peters Church, Brackley, on April 21, of police officers Mr. Wayne Martin and Miss Nicola Lewis.

The groom is the son of Keith and Sharon Martin, of Wodhams Drive, Brackley, Northamptonshire, while the bride is the daughter of Derek and Diane Lewis, of Ashley House, Valley Road, Saundersfoot.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a full-length fitted strapless lace gown with diamante brooch and sash.

Bridesmaids were Charlie (Charlotte) Loggin (bride's friend) and Hayley Martin (groom's sister). They wore full-length halter-neck Grecian-style dresses in aubergine.

Best man was Will Wright (friend), while ushers were Philip Lewis (bride's brother) and Jason Stopps (groom's friend).

The ceremony was conducted by Father Nicholas Gandy and organist was Jacinta Holden.

The wedding reception was held at Villiers Hotel, Buckingham.
