Traffic cone smashed car windscreeen

Police are appealing for information following an incident on the Llanteg to Kilgetty road late on Friday night.

Shortly before midnight, a silver coloured Volvo car was travelling along the road and as it passed underneath the first road bridge, just after the Amroth junction, a large red and white traffic cone fell from the bridge onto the windscreen of the car, shattering the glass.

The bridge carries the road leading from Ludchurch towards Stepaside.

There were no other vehicles on the road at that particular time and fortunately no one was injured in the incident.

Man arrested

A man from the Bristol area was charged with three offences of shoplifting in Tenby on Wednesday after being spotted acting suspiciously by a sharp-eyed shopkeeper.

All the property was recovered and the man has been bailed to appear before magistrates sitting in the town next Tuesday.

Purse stolen

A purse containing cash and credit cards was stolen from an unattended handbag at the New Hedges Tavern at approximately 9 pm last Wednesday.

Three arrested

Three local men were arrested by police on Friday on suspicion of two burglaries in Tenby.

The trio were subsequently charged with the burglaries at the Ocean Haze Hotel and Flat 7, Martins Lodge, The Norton, and have been bailed to appear before magistrates sitting in the town next Tuesday.
