Two mobile caravans, valued at over £8,000, have been stolen from a camping site in Saundersfoot.
Local police are investigating the theft from Griffithston Farm Caravan Park, Hops Hill, which was reported by the owner of the site on Friday morning.
One of the caravans stolen was an Elvys Crusader Storm valued at £5,500. The twin axle caravan is white in colour and has a purple strip.
The second caravan was a Senator 7000 twin axle valued at £3,000. It is beige in colour with a deep brown strip and has two cracked front windows.
"At 4 am on Thursday, a witness was awoken from his sleep by the sound of a car alarm sounding in the street outside his home," explained PC Mike Smith, who is dealing with the incident.
"The witness peered out of his bedroom window down into Westfield Road and saw three motor vehicles, two of which were towing caravans," he continued.
"The first vehicle appeared to have problems with its alarm system as the horn was sounding and all the indicator lights were flashing. A person could be seen inside to be fumbling with controls."
It is described as a white coloured 4x4 type new model vehicle with an enclosed or van type rear.
The second vehicle, which did not have its lights illuminated, is believed to have been a white Ford Scorpio or Granada hatch-back. It was towing a caravan.
The third vehicle was also towing a caravan, and is described as a BMW saloon. It had a metallic finish, possibly in grey, and was believed to be an old model of the 'Five' series.
"All three vehicles appeared to be acting together," added PC Smith.
