Local police are appealing for help in solving parking problems outside and near to Narberth CP School.
A number of complaints have been received recently about the 'inconsiderate' and 'illegal' parking near the Moorfield Road school and as a result a number of vehicles which have contravened regulations have been issued with £30 fixed penalty tickets.
"We will be keeping a close eye on the situation," PC Dorian Evans of the town's police station told the Observer on Wednesday.
"The headmistress, Mrs. Edna Davies, has also received complaints and has written to all parents and guardians about the matter," he continued.
"The police are asking people picking up children to park in the free Town Moor car park situated behind the school and if anyone has any suggestions as to how the problems can be overcome they can contact the police station or the school directly," PC Evans added.
