Dyfed Powys Police are continuing to investigate a fatal road accident on the A40 on Sunday.

Sixty-eight-year-old Barbara Knight from the Milford Haven area died following a collision near Llanddewi Velfrey.

She was released from her vehicle by firefighters from Narberth and Whitland using hydraulic cutting equipment and airlifted to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, where she later died.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision, which occurred at approximately 1.39 pm.

Two other casualties were taken to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact PC049 Griffiths at the Roads Policing Unit at Haverfordwest Police Station on 0845 330 2000.
