Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road accident which occurred near Narberth last Thursday evening.
The accident, which involved a Ford Transit van and a Ford Escort car, occurred at approximately 6 pm on the A478 between Penblewin and Narberth town.
The driver of the car was a 29-year-old man from St. Ishmaels, while the driver of the van was a man from Clunderwen.
The driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest, where his condition has been described as 'critical, but stable'.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to contact them at Narberth police station on 860389.
