Police are investigating an early hours of the morning assault in Tenby.

A male person was assaulted outside the Tasty Cafe in White Lion Street shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 9.

Whilst the male opened the door, another male, accompanied by two females, shouted at him to 'go back indoors'.

The victim responded by asking him 'what he wanted', resulting in the male approaching him and punching him to the face and head. The victim's arms were held onto by a female during the assault.

The suspect is described as being white, 24-25 years of age and 179-182cm tall. He was quite slim build with blond spiked hair and was wearing a grey t-shirt with a motif on the front. He was also believed to be wearing jeans and white trainers.

The female who assisted in the assault is described as being also 24-25 years of age and approximately 174cm in height. She had black shoulder length hair and was of a larger build. She was wearing a black vest-type dress.

The other female, not directly involved, had bronze coloured shoulder length hair and was wearing a silver top. She was of slim build.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact PC635 Jo Thompson at the town's police station on 101.
