Police at Tenby and Saundersfoot are making inquiries into a burglary which occurred at a dwelling in Sandyhill Road, Saundersfoot. A quantity of jewellery, cash and a camcorder was stolen sometime between Sunday and the early evening of Wednesday when the incident was discovered. Inspector Les Clark, of Tenby police station, said: "This type of offence causes me concern. Dwelling burglary is one of the worst things that can happen to anybody and I am desperate to catch the criminals responsible. "A few months ago a spate of similar offences was reported in the same area. "I would appeal to householders in the area to look at security of their homes now. "If they have concerns, contact the police for the bobby van service, which supplies and fits locks and other security equipment free of charge to vulnerable members of society." In relation to the burglary at Sandyhill Road, Insp. Clark is appealing to anybody with information to come forward either to the police direct or via Crimestoppers. "Information will be dealt with in strictest confidence and a reward may be payable even on an anonymous basis," added Insp. Clark.
