The Plough Penny Field Pink Tea, held last Saturday in aid of Cancer Research, was a great success despite the inclement weather.

The magnificent sum of £2,500 was raised in total with sponsorship.

The day held at Plough Penny Field in St. Florence had a mixture of afternoon teas, stalls, and included many things for the children. Margaret’s car was filled with balloons and a bottle of Lanson champagne was won Kerry Rees who was only one number out. There was guess the name of the teddy and guess the weight of the cake, along with many raffle prizes donated by local businesses. Tea and cakes was enjoyed by most and a walk around the gardens proved popular.

A good day in all raising money for Cancer Research UK.
