Sir,
What on earth possessed anyone to put this monstrosity at the end of The Croft?
It is so very inappropriate to site it at the entrance to a beautiful Georgian terrace.
It will now be the first view visitors will have as they approach the town from The Norton and will only serve further to downmarket our lovely town.
The poor build quality made from unsuitable material for withstanding the sea air will surely deteriorate quickly.
Where were National Parks when this was planned? And where did the funding come from?
Can it please be moved to a more appropriate setting, such as the multi-storey car-park or a city shopping centre.
I realise that an information board is useful for visitors, but does it really need two granite men to hold it up?
Yours in horror,
Mrs. Ray Lowe,
The Croft,
