Once more may I appeal to the ever-generous folk of Tenby and district for their support in this year's Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, the proceeds of which are devoted to the welfare of needy serving and ex-service personnel.

The calls on the fund increase by the day, and with our forces heavily engaged in Afghanistan and other areas of operations, the need for support will continue for a long time to come.

The poppy represents the appreciation of the services rendered by the Armed Forces in both World Wars and subsequent conflicts.

Please give generously and wear your poppy with pride.
