Directed by Len Harvey, the production features Players stalwarts David Owen as Henry and Hilary Harvey as his scheming estranged wife Eleanor.
Other familiar faces taking the stage as Henry's conspiring sons will be Andrew Davies (Richard), Steve Butler (Geoffrey) and Lloyd Ayris (John), while Stephen Perkins, as King Philip of France, and Robyn Hickling, as his sister Alais, will be taking their first bows for Players.
The Lion in Winter can be seen at the De Valence Pavilion, Tenby, on April 17, 19, 24 and 26, and at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on April 25.
