The annual Tenby Winter Carnival will take place on December 8.
The carnival floats will assemble at the Butts Field car park at 5 pm for judging, before leaving at 6 pm.
They will travel along the Norton into White Lion Street, South Parade, along St. Florence Parade through Imperial Arch into Lower Frog Street, St. George Street, Tudor Square, High Street and back to Butts Field (please help the police by not parking in Lower Frog Street/St. George Street/High Street).
The parade will stop in High Street for the results to be announced in Tudor Square.
Late afternoon Steve Briers will be entertaining the crowds in Tudor Square and Father Christmas will be travelling through town at 5 pm - stopping briefly in Tudor Square and outside the De Valence before joining the Carnival Parade.
The walking entries for the carnival will meet at the De Valence at 5 pm to be judged and then join the parade as it passes the top of Upper Frog Street. Doors will be open at 4.30pm.
The event will be followed by a Family Night Disco at the De Valence, with free entry, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
For the carnival day to be a success, it would be appreciated if the shopkeepers could enter the window dressing competition using the 'Christmas' theme, asking staff to enter the fancy dress competition and the restaurants/pubs to offer carnival specials on the day or to enter a float/walking entry in the parade.
If anyone would like to enter a float or a walking entry in the carnival, please call into Rembrandt Jewellers, Tudor Square, to collect an entry form.
For further information, contact John on 843947, Ann on 842345 or Elaine on 844175.
Would all winners, who have not yet responded to the request, please return their trophies to Rembrandt as soon as possible. Thank you.
