The following planning applications were recently discussed by members of Tenby Town Council...
• NP/26/0050/LBA - Replacement of windows to upper floors in traditional timber sash, at Tenby Rock & Fudge Shop, 5 St Georges Street.
Councillors recommended approval, stating it was an improvement on the listed building. Reopening boarded window noted. All in favour.
• NP/26/0125/TPO – Crown reduction to previous growth points on 2 x mature Norway Maple trees (TPO 88), at St Johns United Reformed Methodist Church, Warren Street.
Councillors factored in considering bird nesting with timing of work. They stated that the trees were blocking a lot of the features of the church.
In recommending approval they stated, the proposal represents good management in the interests of health and safety.
