Proposals for the installation of a telecommunications base on the outskirts of Tenby have been backed by local councillors.

In an application that came before Tenby Town Council’s most recent meeting, the plans [Reference: NP/25/0606/FUL] submitted by Freshwave Facilities Limited, propose the installation of a telecommunications base station comprising a 23.14m monopole supporting 6 no antennas on a headframe, together with 3 no ground-based equipment cabinets, 1 no meter cabinet within fenced compound and ancillary development thereto on land at Kiln Park, Haven Holiday Park, Marsh Road.

When discussing the application, councillors felt that any improvement in telecommunications would be a benefit to all. All voted in favour.

Councillors’ views will now be passed onto the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
