Members of Tenby town council have requested that no planning consent be passed on an application on Lower Frog Street until neighbouring properties have been able to give their views on the full plans.

At a remote meeting of the town council on Tuesday night, members were asked to give their recommendation on full and listed applications that have been submitted to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority for the construction of a single storey extension at Stretton House.

The plans for the premises also include the redesign of internal layout of ground and reconfiguration of an upstairs bathrooms.

Discussing the plans, councillors resolved that no consent be granted until PCNPA are certain they have been given a clear opinion from neighbouring residents.

“Members of the town council are aware that some residents have not had the ability to view the plans on line nor make alternative arrangements to view the plans in an office setting,” the town clerk explained.
