Plans have been put forward to alter the signage of a Tenby town Chinese restaurant.

The application (Reference: NP/26/0473/ADV) is for the replacement mounted board sign together with lighting and new logo sign, at China Town Restaurant, Temple House, located on Lower Frog Street.

Members of Tenby Civic Society have backed the plans, stating: “We welcome an alternative to the present unpermitted obtrusive white fascia panel.

“Placing the fascia on the frontage and wrapped round the base of the bay window fits in with the design of the building more.

“An extensive black fascia will be more intrusive than a mid tone blue panel would be. The lettering fits well in size and style, as do the swan necked external lights to the main wording.”

The application will be determined by members of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority at a later date.
