Among planning applications considered by Tenby Town Council at their meeting last week, for recommendation to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority were the following:

NP/21/0822/FUL and NP/21/0823/LBA: Sub-division of existing dwelling to form a separate self-catering holiday accommodation unit to rear including entrance porch extension, new window and door openings, minor external works, fences etc to rear garden and reconfiguration of existing external fire escape stair to rear, at Castle View House, 14 The Norton, Tenby - (Approval recommended - following a site meeting with the applicant, members feel their concerns have been addressed and can support this proposal).

NP/22/0114/FUL: Façade upgrade works to front and rear facades including window and door replacement; to rear yard a new single storey glazed extension is to formed with widened opening to kitchen, at 6 Norton Cottages, The Norton, Tenby - (Approval recommended - considered against all the relevant policies within the LDP, members feel that this proposal will have no detrimental impact on the amenity of neighbouring properties).

NP/22/0128/FUL and NP/22/0129/LBA: Replacement of defective mansard roof structure with new mansard roof to match existing lines, though approx. 250 mm higher; replacement of existing mansard upvc windows with new anodised aluminium windows; replacement of modern upvc windows on rear elevation with timber sash windows to match original; replacement of one existing upvc window on rear elevation with pair of opening inwards French doors with metal Juliet balustrade on façade; creation of external terrace behind existing boundary wall at ground floor over external flat roof of basement apartment; various internal alterations to modern stud walling to change footprint of some apartments which will result in reduced number of individual apartments, at Croft House, 2 The Croft, Tenby - (Approval recommended - considered against all the relevant policies within the LDP, members feel that this proposal will have no detrimental impact on the amenity of neighbouring properties or the Conservation Area.
