Plans to alter access to the entrance of a Tenby hotel have been given the thumbs up by local councillors.

A full and listed planning application submitted by Graham Preece of the Esplanade Hotel for the alteration to the premises’ front entrance porch, removal of access steps, to replace with ramp and balustrade came before members of Tenby Town Council at their meeting on Tuesday night, with councillors unanimously approving the plans.

“It will enhance the hotel’s entrance and help with disabled access,” Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter told her colleagues when welcoming the plans.

The town council’s recommendation will now be passed on to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority when considering the application.
