A local authority decision not to grant a lawful development certificate for a caravan, has been upheld on appeal.
Pembrokeshire County Council refused to grant the certificate in respect of the static caravan on land north of Stag Hill, Stepaside, earlier this year.
Planning inspector, Janine Townsley, was told that the now dilapidated caravan was in constant use from 1985 until 2000.
However thereafter, according to the appeal application, the caravan was neglected and now needed replacing for occasional residential use.
In dismissing the appeal, Ms Townley ruled that she was not satisfied with the amount of evidence supplied by the appellant, Julian King, relating to the previous use of the site.
The dilapidated condition of the structure indicated too much time had elapsed since its last occupation.
