Preparatory works at the Brynhir site in Tenby are scheduled to commence next Wednesday, with portable traffic lights operating on Monday and Tuesday.
Morgan Construction Wales Ltd will be commencing the pre-construction Archaeological Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) works at the Brynhir site, Tenby, from Wednesday, October 1, 2025. These works are preparatory in nature and do not form part of the main construction activities.
The first activity on site will be the installation of temporary traffic management on Old Narberth Road (A478) – Sperricomb Lane, Tenby SA70 8TT, including the adjacent lay-by, to allow plant and machinery to be brought onto the site. The two-way portable traffic lights will be in place from September 29 to 30.
The WSI works will include an archaeological excavation lasting between four and six weeks.
A section of the Public Right of Way path SP46/29/1 will be stopped up and diverted for the duration of the WSI works.
Heras panel fencing and ecological buffer zones will be identified, implemented and maintained in the identified locations. These will remain in place for an estimated period of six months.
