A meeting due to have been held this week over the controversial Brynhir housing development was cancelled at the 11th hour.

The meeting, due to have been held on Wednesday, between Pembrokeshire County Council and Tenby Town Council, was postponed because neither the developers nor Pembrokeshire Coast National Park representatives were able to attend, a spokesman for the local authority told the Observer.

The meeting - which was to give an update on the scheme - is being rescheduled.

Meanwhile, when asked about work which has been featured on the Facebook group Save Brynhir Green Space and Wildlife, the spokesman confirmed: “The work referred to is not on the site nor is it being undertaken by anyone connected with the developers.”
