Plans have been submitted to the National Park to knock down the former police station in Saundersfoot.
The application (reference: NP/26/0258/FUL) is for the proposed demolition of the former Police Station located on Wogan Terrace and redevelopment of the site to create a single dwelling and associated works and the installation of a roof light to Bay View.
It was announced back in the summer of 2023 by Dyfed-Powys Police, that the seaside village’s police station was to close, with the property to be sold, in line with wider changes that will ‘modernise and improve’ the policing service in Pembrokeshire.

The Coal Authority which initially objected to the application, has now withdrawn its objection to the proposed development, subject to the imposition of conditions it has recommended.

The application will be determined by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority at a later date.
