Last Sunday, the services throughout the day were conducted by the Rev. Roger Hart, Bethany, Pembroke Dock.
This Sunday morning, Mr. John Davies will lead the service, with the Rev. Martin Cox, vicar of Monkton, conducting the evening service. Sunday School will be held at 10.30 am.
Arrangements are in hand for the annual cawl morning on Wednesday, March 11, and tickets are available from members of the church.
A Christian welcome is given to all to join in worship and other meetings with friends at Pisgah.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP
The Ladies Fellowship met on Wednesday, February 11, in the Sunday Schoolroom. Mrs. Pauline Paul welcomed everyone and, following the singing of a hymn, she read a passage of scripture and offered prayer.
Pauline then introduced the speaker for the evening, Mr. Keith Johnson. Keith chose to tell the ladies of a local boy made good. Thomas Williams had been born in Vallen Farm, near Marletwy, and after leaving school trained to be a chemist and moved to London. His fame and fortune came, though, as a result of his developing the first recipe for ginger beer.
At the end of the evening, the ladies were served tea and biscuits by Peggy and Marina.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, February 25, when the speaker will be Mrs. Jenny Greener.
