Last Sunday morning, the Rev. Norman Gilbert, Cosheston, conducted the service, with the Rev. Hywel Brown leading the evening service, The Ordinance of the Lord's Supper was observed at both services.
This Sunday morning, Dr. Pauline Paul, a member of the church, will lead the service, with Mr. Dennis Payne taking the evening service. Sunday School will be at 10.30 am.
A Christian welcome is given to all to join in worship with friends at Pisgah.
Ladies Fellowship
The Ladies Fellowship met for the first time in 2009 on Wednesday, January 14, in the Sunday Schoolroom. Janice led the devotions and Val played for the hymns.
The ladies welcomed a good friend, Mr. John Brock, to the meeting. John used three well-known biblical texts as his theme when he spoke and he brought with him items he had made or collected to illustrate his message.
The ladies were grateful to John for his willingness to come and speak and for all the preparation that had obviously gone on before.
At the end of the evening, Audrey served tea and biscuits.
The ladies meet next on Wednesday, January 28, in the Sunday Schoolroom, when the speaker will be a member of the Ladies Fellowship at Pisgah, Mrs. Maureen Griffiths.
