On Saturday last, the children of the Sunday School enjoyed themselves at the swimming pool in Tenby.
They stayed at the pool for an hour and then returned to Pisgah for a barbecue, where they were joined by the senior members of the Sunday School. Last Sunday morning, Mr. Quirk, of Broadmoor, led the service, with Mrs. Anne Rendell, of Aberdare, taking the evening service. Tea had been prepared in the schoolroom to give members the opportunity of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Rendell.
A large congregation attended the evening service, and afterwards refreshments were again in the schoolroom.
This Sunday morning, Mr. Norman Rees, of Clarbeston Road, will take the service, with Mr. Quirk, of Broadmoor, leading the evening service. There will be a church meeting on Tuesday, September 20, at 7.30 pm.
The Harvest Thanksgiving services will be held on Sunday, September 25.
A Christian welcome is given to all to join in worship with friends of Pisgah.
