Congratulations to Anna Phillips, a pupil at Castle School, who has just been awarded a sixth form music scholarship to Wellington College in Somerset.

Anna, who also plays both the violin and harp has just passed grade eight piano with merit and also has previously passed grade eight violin with merit. She hopes to attend music college in London after taking her A-Levels.

Anna took her grade eight in the Regency Hall in Saundersfoot.

Hilary Hughes also passed grade six; Megan Stace-Smith passed grade two; Ray Koo passed grade two; Evie Sutcliffe passed grade one; and Cerys Carroll also passed grade one.

These pianists all passed the Royal Schools of Music Exams in piano and are pupils of Jan Hartzell from Saundersfoot.
