A 75-year-old lady tragically died after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest at Bosherston Lily Ponds on Friday.
Castlemartin and Manorbier Coastguard Rescue Teams, together with the ambulance service, went to the aid of the lady who had fallen off a bridge into the ponds at 1.45 pm.
On their arrival, the coastguard teams found that the lady from Bristol, and on holiday with her husband, had been recovered from the water by members of the public and was being attended to by the ambulance crew.
She was taken to Withybush Hospital where sadly she died.
