Penally School recently hosted some international visitors from Ireland and Denmark. They were headteacher Liam Collins from St. Canises School, New Ross, and teachers Tove Laursen and Marion Hoejer from Trevelden Skole, Fredericia, in Denmark, who have helped form a tri-lateral link with Penally School.

All three schools are working on an international project through the European Commenius Programme. During the next three years, each school will work together on an enviromental project that will investigate each other's locality and culture.

The teachers spent three days at Penally observing the pupils and learning about our educational system. Time was also spent planning the future projects.

During the next three years, teachers will have the opportunity to visit each other's schools as the project develops.
