On Remembrance Sunday at 11 am, the community of Penally will gather at their village war memorial to remember those from the village who gave their lives in time of war. There will be others, too, who have died more recently serving their country. There will be prayers for world peace and for those still suffering, as well as the work of the Royal British Legion and those serving in the armed forces today. Wreaths will be laid in their memory. The service at 10.55 am follows the 9.30 am Sung Eucharist at St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's.
