Penally village will be holding its annual open horticultural and craft show on Saturday, August 6, at Penally Village Hall.

It is well worth a visit and is always a popular event, enjoyed by villagers and visitors alike. There is a very popular children's section with classes for under 10 years and ages 10-14.

This year, the show will include a new photographic competition with a prize of £25 for the lucky winner. The subject of the photograph is Penally flora or fauna.

Everyone is urged to take part or visit. Doors open at 9 am and exhibits must be staged by 10.30 am. The hall will be closed for judging at 11 am and open again for viewing at 2.30 pm with presentation of prizes at 3.15 pm.
