The next Family Service at Penally's St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church is this Sunday, October 16, at 9.30 am. It will be led by the team vicar, Rev. Michael John, and rectorial benefice curate, Rev. Dennis Baxter. This all-age informal worship has already attracted newcomers to the village and young families. Refreshments will be served after the service so that everyone can meet.

The Rev. Andrew Davies, preaching at this year's Harvest Thanksgiving, reminded a larger than usual congregation, including visitors from Vancouver, that we are all stewards of God's Creation, fellow creators called to share with others God's given gifts. The collection was for Christian Aid and a generous response for 'The Goats for Africa' appeal. Many enjoyed the fun and hospitality at the lively Harvest Supper that followed, with the Rev. Dennis Baxter making his debut as auctioneer of the gifts. Thank you everyone who made this evening of worship and friendship possible. St. Nicholas and St. Teilo's Church has launched a new initiative to enable older worshippers and the infirm to have car transport to church with the brand name 'Teilo Cars'.
