Vehicles being ditched along the grass verges at Penally by-pass are to be considered by the Local Authority.
At a recent meeting of Penally Community Council, county councillor for the ward, Cllr Phil Kidney told fellow members that a meeting with an officer from Pembrokeshire County Council’s highways department had been scheduled to discuss parking on the verges of Penally by-pass.
This has been an ongoing problem considered by councillors from the village for many years, exacerbated by car parking charges being introduced at the Station car park.
Councillors have stated in the past, that it is a major hazard with persons getting out of parked vehicles adjacent to a busy, main road with a 50mph limit and no footpaths.
