Three weeks in a row now we've had eight pairs enjoying 28 hands of duplicate, even though this week was a Bank Holiday. Apparently the alternative was mowing the grass (no contest).

It was very close at the top, with Pam Evans and Lyn Lawson on 60.71 per cent; hard on their heels were Lucy Brooker and Celia Rossiter with 59.52; in third place Mike Taylor and Jeff Thomas on 55.36.
