With eight full tables and 28 boards to play, everyone was urged to try and knock our regular winners, Mary and Jan, off their perch. That must have been quite a pep talk Mike, because congratulations this week go to Pam Evans and Lyn Lawson with 60.12 per cent. In second with 57.14 were Mike Taylor and Mags Davies, followed in third place by Alan Hassall and Derek Thomas with 55.95.

Proceedings were slowed occasionally for some serious bidding and playing, resulting in three small slams, all on different boards, with two going to our winning pair and the other to the third placed pair - well done to them.
