For the first time since our club was formed, Mike had to dust off his 'six table movement' to cope with the great turnout, we nearly had to press the old tables into service (writes A.H.). A total of 27 hands of duplicate brought the cream to the top with Lucy Brooker and Mags Davies with a full fat 69.79 per cent, Christine Wilson and Derek Thompson with a gold top 65.10 and Alan Hassall with Derek Thomas on a semi-skimmed 58.85. No slams made again this week, but a notable game +1 redoubled, was made by our second placed pair.
