All Waste and Recycling Centres (WRCs) in Pembrokeshire and across Wales were closed in accordance with Government guidelines to “stay at home”, as this was deemed non-essential travel.
These facilities currently remain closed across Wales.
However, following Welsh Government’s announcement on Friday (May 8) that they “propose changing the regulations to allow local authorities to begin planning how to safely reopen…recycling centres” this requirement is now being reviewed.
How and when these facilities will re-open is currently being considered on a Welsh basis by all Welsh local authorities in conjunction with Welsh Government.
The timescale associated with re-opening has not been agreed at this stage while we are awaiting the revised regulations from Welsh Government.
